App User
Absolutely! An encrypted link is established between the Clinical Web Application (CWA) and your mobile device via a 256bit encryption link (the same as internet banking apps). Once the link is established, you create your own passcode, or biometric login details. Information is not stored locally on your device; the app simply lets you ‘view’ your data via this secure connection. If you lose your device, we have the ability to remotely ‘lock’ your data, and create a secure link to another device.
The app is available on both Android and Apple platform and can be downloaded via the verified links on your device app store.
Information is not stored on your device the app simply lets you ‘view’ your data via an established secure connection. Access to the application is protected behind a secure login with access via password, fingerprint or Face ID recognition. If you lose your phone, simply contact your clinic and they can establish a new connection to your new device.
The app provides a digital platform with many benefits to you as a user, such as access to results, details of past and upcoming appointments and details of your medications. You will still need to attend appointments based on your clinic appointment guidelines.
The information within the app is your data, and you can share with anyone you feel appropriate. Many users use the results data to show other healthcare providers, such as their GP, which prevents duplication of many tests. Other users have reporting using the app to show viral load results to sexual partners.
